A Women’s Personal Care & Confidence Campaign

Returning home is about so much more than finding housing or employment. It is about rebuilding a life, rediscovering a sense of self, and doing the difficult work of becoming the woman you know you can be.

Through Her Next Chapter: The Choice Fund, your gift will help women entering Project 180’s Women’s Residential Program create their own Confidence Kits, choosing the skincare, hair care, makeup, feminine care, personal hygiene, and other personal care items that make them feel most like themselves.

Just as importantly, this fund gives each woman something many have not experienced in a long time: choice. The opportunity to walk into a store, decide what products she likes, choose what makes her feel good, and purchase something for herself. These everyday decisions may seem small, but after years of having so many choices made for you, they can represent a meaningful step toward independence, confidence, and reclaiming a sense of self.

To make that choice possible, each resident will have up to $150 to create her own personalized Confidence Kit. As women graduate and move forward into their next chapters, the fund will continue providing this same opportunity to each new resident who enters the program.

While our residents do the important work on the inside, we want them to have opportunities to feel good on the outside, too. Whether she is getting ready for a job interview, settling into her new home, or simply looking in the mirror and beginning to recognize herself again, these moments can be part of returning to community life with dignity.

Your gift provides more than personal care products. It provides choice, dignity, confidence, and another small piece of independence as a woman begins her next chapter and finds her place again in the community she calls home.
