Universal Access Trail at the Confluence

Help create a more accessible way for people of all mobility levels to experience the Eno River.

ERA is transforming the Rocky Water Path—also known by its Saponi language name, Niste:kmaniątcóx—at the Confluence Natural Area into a Universal Accessible Trail. Improvements include a more accessible trail surface, gentler grades, accessible signage and seating, boardwalks, and—eventually—an accessible bridge across the West Fork of the Eno River and a viewing platform overlooking the water.

A generous anonymous donor has given $60,000 to launch this project and has pledged an additional $60,000 challenge gift when we raise $100,000 toward the project. Give today to help us reach that $100,000 goal and unlock an additional $60,000 for a total of $220,000 to support this project.
